Yong-Chie Heng
Dr. Yong-Chie Heng is General Director of ITRI (Industrial Technology Research Institute). He holds a PhD in Wireless Communications (Univ. of Wales-Swansea, UK) and his research mainly concentrate on VHF, UHF, Microwave communications and 2G, 3G, IMT-LTE, WiMAX communications. During his professional career, he has managed countless European and international projects, notably the licensing of the global personal satellite communication system in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Motorola HQ in the USA. He has been serving as invited technical adviser to government and industry, both in EMEA region and Taiwan.

Soe-Tsyr Yuan

Dr. Soe-Tsyr (Daphne) Yuan currently is serving as Director of Service Science Research Center (SSRC) in College of Commerce of National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taipei, Taiwan, and concurrently is a distinguished professor in the Department of Management Information System of NCCU. She obtained her PhD in Computer Science from Oregon State University in USA. She has previously served as Dean of Research and Development of NCCU, Chair of Department of Management Information System of NCCU and played a key role in advocating the research of Service Science, Management, Engineering and Design (SSMED) in Taiwan after receiving the global IBM Shared University Research Award (themed on Service Science) in 2006. In her endeavors toward SSMED, SSRC has conducted a variety of novel academic research projects (iCare, iDesign, iNetwork, iEncounter, iMage, etc.) along the innovation progression path of evolutionary service models that can help reinvent existing service industries in the systematical way. Kevin Ju-Jui Chou

Kevin Yu-Jui Chou (b. 1974) graduated from the Cranbrook Academy of Art (USA) in 2002. After six years as a senior designer at Philips Design, he started his own studio, KEV Design, works vary from communications products to furniture. Chou has been recognized with various international design awards and is a lecturer at Shih Chien University since 2004. He collaborates often with IT industry and craft artisans, and specializes in finding intelligent solutions for the design.
