Day 1

Orientation and Introduction

In the morning, an introduction will be given to assist the students in understanding the purpose and design of the curriculum, themes covered for this year, and getting prepared for the following experiential activities and workshop. 

In the afternoon, a visit to Lanyang Museum is scheduled. It provides the students the overall knowledge about Yilan County, where the study sites (communities) are located for this year, including the geographical features, the overview of the history, and the cultural and industrial development. This will serve as a nice foundation for further learning through future activities in this region.
